ImAFUSA is delighted to participate in a series of webinars hosted by EUROCONTROL presenting results from projects of the Aviation Twin Transition Cluster.

Join us on February 25, 2026 at 14.00 CET for the webinar “Social Impact of Innovative Air Mobility”!
The 3rd session of the “Aviation Twin Transition (ATT) Cluster: From Research to Results” series hosted by EUROCONTROL, this webinar will provide new insights into the social impact of implementing U-Space and innovative forms of aerial mobility.
The session will highlight findings from ImAFUSA and other projects of the ATT Cluster, demonstrate novel tools and indicators, and discuss how these can guide policy makers, city planners, and industry stakeholders in designing IAM and related services that are both sustainable and socially inclusive.
Researchers will present results from the ImAFUSA Project regarding UAM Welfare indicators such as real estate costs and productivity. This analysis serves as the basis for the UAM Welfare Tool developed by ImAFUSA, which provides a modeling framework for estimating the effects of various deployment scenarios.
The webinar will also include an analysis of the costs and benefits of implementing U-Space in Belgium as identified in work by the BURDI Project. Key infrastructure, training, employment, and development costs will be identified, alongside key benefits for different stakeholders.
Insights will further be presented from social impact studies conducted by AIRSHIP Project on the effects of new transportation models on remote islands.
